Materials Recycling Facility MRF Doncaster
Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) Doncaster
Cutts Recycling has diversified by applying it’s experience, skills and resources into the development of technology for the processing of household generated co-mingled material.
In conjunction with Community Waste, we currently process in excess of 150,000 tonnes per annum of co-mingled material for six councils through both the Milton Keynes and Enstone MRF’s.
The Milton Keynes MRF re-opened after a complete re-development project which employed new state of the art equipment into the existing plant. This was project managed by key Cutts Recycling personnel, and was successfully re-commissioned within a 6 month time frame.
More recently, development has been underway on the Cutts Recycling Doncaster site which will be converted into a MRF which is capable of accepting household and commercial waste. This will again employ equipment for the automatic segregation of material.
All our MRF’s employ state of the art equipment and are capable of automatically processing mixed dry recyclables into the following separate material fractions:
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Aluminium & Steel cans and containers
- Plastic – colour separated into HDPE & PET
- Glass – colour separated into Brown, Green and clear glass
