![]() |
Cutts Recycling fully comprehends the duties placed upon it under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and all other relevant legislation. We are committed to ensuring that we at least comply with the minimum requirements and wherever reasonably practicable we work towards exceeding them. An important priority of Cutts Recycling operations is to ensure that a safe and healthy working environment exists for all its staff, contractors, visitors and any others who may be affected by its activities. We have made this an essential part of managing the business, whereby we have adopted a continuous improvement style Health and Safety ethos. A main component of this includes consultation meetings between management and staff in order to cement best practice and help prevent accidents from occurring. The Company also ensures that all levels of employee and all others acting on their behalf are competent. This is carried out through a comprehensive induction training scheme and mentoring programme. In order that the policy is being effectively implemented periodic reviews are carried out, at least yearly, by the senior management team. In support of this, regular auditing is also carried out to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Download full H&S policy (PDF) |
