Cutts Recycling is committed to promoting sustainability. Concern for the environment and promoting a broader sustainability agenda are integral to our operational activities and the management of the organisation.
Our principle environmental commitments are:
- Meet and, where appropriate, exceed the requirements of all relevant legislation - where no regulation exists we shall set our own standards;
- To minimise avoidable pollution or nuisance that may be caused by our activities
- To use natural resources efficiently with the aim of reducing the consumption of raw materials and promoting recycling and reuse where reasonably practicable;
- To minimise the generation of waste and to dispose of unavoidable waste in a responsible manner
- Seek to minimise the environmental impact of our transportation operations
- Provide necessary training, information and support to staff to assist them in bringing into effect this statement of Company policy
- To verify compliance by certification to ISO 9001 and ISO14001.
